Biophysical Alcohol Drug Treatment

Facing what you need

Literally, a biophysical alcohol drug treatment programs is a rehab that addresses the physical aspects of addiction, not by adding other drugs or medicines, but by promoting the natural well-being of a person and getting those that are addicted to alcohol and other drugs back to their original level of pristine health by getting the toxins of alcohol and drug use out of their bodies and allowing their natural physiology to help them heal.

Using the street drugs or prescription medicines that are available today, challenges one’s body to do everything to keep these “poisons” out of the bloodstream, which means that the liver and kidneys metabolize these drugs as best they can, but that still leaves the body in danger of being overcome by the toxic nature of these substances. Therefore, the wisdom of the body is to “push” these toxins into the dormant fat tissue of the body in order leave the blood stream free of their effects. Our bodies can take up to five or more years to recover from the effects of these chemical residues. The side effects of this physical contamination can include drug cravings, depression, anxiety and a host of ills that keep the addict from having the ability to feel normal. This does not just apply to those that are toxic with the residues of illicit drugs, but, as mentioned above, psychotropic drugs have the same or more vile effects. Workers that are exposed to paint or other hydrocarbons can become toxic and have an overwhelming need to drink or drug their uncomfortable feelings.

The biophysical alcohol drug treatment programs all have a purification sauna that helps in the cleansing of the chemical residues out of the fat tissue and other areas of the body where these toxic residues are being stored. This cleansing process happens in only 2 – 4 weeks, leaving the individual feeling happy, stress free and rejuvenated for the first time since his original alcohol or drug use/abuse. When a person has finished this part of the biophysical program, he literally realizes that there is a way out of his misery and he is hopeful and ready to take on the emotional therapy that will handle his confusing and fearful life.

An addict’s emotional problems are handled in the Social Educational component of the program that is designed to bring out all of the emotional problems that addict faces and help him to confront these problems and solve them. Once he has confronted “his demons”, he reaches a new level of self-respect and an enthusiasm to handle those situations that have heretofore caused him to resort to escaping with alcohol and drugs.

He will learn practical life skills that include communication skills, the ability to be in present-time, dealing with whatever life delivers. This part of the program also teaches the person about why they behave in the manner that they have and how to changes those patterns of behavior. The product of this section is a person that is comfortable with themselves and their surroundings. Most people that have been suffering from addiction are creating a facade of who they are and are not comfortable with alcohol and drug-free social interactions.

The latter portion of the biophysical alcohol drug treatment programs address one’s personal values and integrity, where the recovering addict finds that his strength comes from living an ethical life where he is more interested in service to others and not struggling with self-survival. This final step allows the addict to re-evaluate his relationship to others and to recognize the importance of religion, at some level, in everyone’s life. Once a person has handled all of the above therapy, they are wanting to have the support of their faith and religion, so the program helps them develop this spiritual relationship.

The Biophysical alcohol drug treatment program ends with an extensive after-care program that provides a safety-net of activities and actions that will keep their new learning in the foreground and will allow them to build on the successes that they have had in the program. The total program takes as long as it takes, but it averages about three to four months.

However, if a person is mandated by the courts to do a six-month or one-year drug rehab program, the biophysical alcohol and drug treatment can easily accommodate this requirement. Some individuals that have had a tremendous amount of remedial needs have spent a year or more learning what they need and the will graduate with the same high success as someone that can finish is four months. The program is totally based on individual need and the cost is one price, regardless of the length of stay.

Overall this method will have the highest success rate of any alcohol and drug rehab. Usually around 70 – 80 % of the time a person going through this treatment will stay drug free and be a productive member of society.

We specialize in helping people find rehabilitation centers that have the highest documented successful outcomes. Biophysical alcohol drug treatment programs have proven to be six times more effective than those modalities that don’t address this component. Our goal is to help you understand the truth about addiction and to refer you to programs that we are confident can provide you or your loved one with the most rational, easily understandable and successful treatment possible.

To find alcohol and drug rehab centers that can meet the criteria of our goals has not been an easy task. Over the past 30+ years we have reviewed over 150 separate, residential treatment centers and have discovered that most treatment centers are struggling to meet their expenses, much less worry about the outcomes of their graduates. Naturally, all individuals that work in this field would like to have successes, but because of the almost religious-like nature of most rehab programs, their leaders and their staff are many times expecting better outcomes than would rationally be expected. Most of the persons that work in alcohol and drug rehab centers are, themselves, in recovery or have recovered from addiction by using the same modality of treatment of the centers where they chose to work. This kinsmanship would be expected, but it doesn’t help in keeping the treatment field scientific and keeping observations about outcomes in the realm of rational indicators and not wether or not a person is a devotee to a mythical system of practices.
